Teresa Theophano is a licensed clinical social worker and freelance writer/editor who works full-time with older adults. Teresa earned her MSW from the Hunter College School of Social Work–now Silberman–the same year that her first book Queer Quotes (Beacon Press, 2004) was published. She has worked and volunteered with LGBTQ communities at myriad organizations and taught as an adjunct professor at the New York City College of Technology (of CUNY). Teresa has contributed to numerous anthologies and websites, and currently serves on the board of directors of NYC-based queer homeless youth program Trinity Place Shelter.

Stephanie Schroeder is a writer based in New York City. Her work has been anthologized in That’s Revolting!: Queer Strategies for Resisting Assimilation (Soft Skull Press, 2008); Here Come the Brides!: Reflections on Lesbian Love and Marriage (Seal Press, 2012); and Easy to Love but Hard to Live With: Real People, Invisible Disabilities, True Stories DRT Press, 2014). She is a full-time peer specialist and housing specialist working with homeless women age 45+ who live with mental health issues. Schroeder is also author of the memoir Beautiful Wreck: Sex, Lies & Suicide (Creative Evolution, 2012).
